First baseman Max Ramirez singled twice, walked, and drove home a run in his three plate appearances.
Second baseman Renny Osuna was hitless in four at-bats, dropping his average to .345
Margarita's Ray Olmedo played third base and went 1-for-3 with a walk.
Shortstop Joaquin Arias' batting average dipped under .300 after he went hitless in three at-bats. Arias did pick up his 11th RBI of the winter.
Julio Borbon had one base hit in four trips.
Esteban German singled once and walked once in four plate appearances.
Toros centerfielder Engel Beltre played in just his third game of the winter, and he grounded out to second base in his only at-bat.
Mike Ballard earned his first start on Sunday, and he also suffered his first loss. The left-hander yielded two runs over 4.1 innings. He allowed six hits while walking three and striking out three.
On the winter, the 25-year-old has still been an excellent performer for Caguas. Ballard has a 2.55 earned-run average through 17.2 innings, and he has consistently thrown strikes while being difficult to hit.
