The Rafters finished with a .500 mark, two games behind the division-winning Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League's West Division.

Mexican Pacific League

No Rangers appeared on Tuesday.

Venezuelan Winter League

The Magallanes Nevegantes dropped a 19-12 slugfest in their playoff opener, but shortstop Elvis Andrus had an excellent night. The 21-year-old batted ninth and went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs batted in.

Dominican Winter League

Escogido shortstop Joaquin Arias was 1-for-5 with a run batted in on Tuesday evening.

Esteban German moved down in the lineup–to the third spot–and played second base for the Toros. He went hitless in three at-bats.

Big reliever Jumbo Diaz fanned three batters in two scoreless innings. He allowed just one hit.

Puerto Rican Winter League

Caguas hurler Mike Ballard got his second start of the winter, and he tossed six shutout innings on the road against Mayaguez. The southpaw yielded three singles while walking one and striking out one.
