Mexican Pacific League

Some shoddy Obregon defense in the third inning led to a pair of unearned runs and, ultimately, a loss for Luis Mendoza on Tuesday night. The right-hander dropped to 0-2 in the postseason after he allowed four runs (two earned) in 6.1 innings. He gave up six hits while walking two and fanning five.

Venezuelan Winter League

Margarita pinch runner and shortstop Ray Olmedo scored a run, but he didn't get a plate appearance.

Dominican Winter League

There were no games on Tuesday.

Puerto Rican Winter League

Ponce reliever Adalberto Flores had his best outing of the season, as he struck out three batters in 1.1 hitless, scoreless innings. Flores walked one.

On the winterball season, the 6-foot-7 righty has a 6.62 ERA, yielding 22 hits and walking 13 batters in 17.2 innings.
