Venezuelan Winter League

Shortstop Renny Osuna had a solid game in a losing effort for La Guaira. The Venezuela native was 1-for-2 with a double, a walk, and a run batted in. The RBI came on a sacrifice fly.

Dominican Winter League

Cibao designated hitter Nelson Cruz went hitless in three at-bats on Friday evening.

Joaquin Arias batted leadoff and played shortstop. He was 0-for-5 and grounded into two double plays, dropping his postseason batting average to .200.

Toros second baseman Esteban German was 0-for-2 before being lifted for pinch hitter Mauro Gomez. Gomez, a former Rangers prospect who was signed by the Braves earlier this offseason, later hit a solo home run off Yhency Brazoban.

Pinch hitter and centerfielder Engel Beltre was 0-for-2 with a strikeout.

Puerto Rican Winter League
