The Caracas Leones used a fierce comeback to knot the Venezuelan Serie Final at two games apiece on Monday evening. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action.

Arizona Fall League: Surprise - SEASON OVER

The Rafters finished with a .500 mark, two games behind the division-winning Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League's West Division.

Mexican Pacific League

Mazatlan defeated Hermosillo, 8-7, by scoring two runs in the top of the ninth inning. No Rangers appeared in the game, but former Rangers farmhand and left fielder Jon Weber led the way for the Venados, going 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Venezuelan Winter League

Caracas evened the Serie Final at two games apiece with an epic victory on Monday night. Down 7-2 in the bottom of the fifth, the Leones scored five runs over the next four innings before getting a walkoff three-run homer from Jackson Melian in the tenth.

For Magallanes, shortstop Elvis Andrus was 1-for-4 with a walk and a run batted in.

Caracas reliever Guillermo Moscoso played a key role in the victory, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings. He gave up one hit, walked three, and struck out two.

Both Andrus and Moscoso are expected to return to Arlington after Tuesday's game five.

Dominican Winter League

Cibao took a 4-3 lead in the best-of-nine series with a 2-0 shutout of Escogido.

Both Rangers players in the game went silent at the plate, as shortstop Joaquin Arias and right fielder Nelson Cruz both went 0-for-4. Cruz is now batting just .080 in the Serie Final, even though his team is just one victory away from the Serie del Caribe.

Puerto Rican Winter League

Mayaguez rallied in game one of the Puerto Rican Championship Series to claim an extra-inning win over Caguas.

Mike Ballard got the starting nod for the Criollos, and he yielded two runs on six hits over four-plus innings of work. He didn't walk a batter and he didn't record a strikeout.
