Every season we have guys who play over-and-above what is expected of them. Last season (IMO) it was Frazier, Bailey, Ludwick, and Chapman. Each of them was a key to the 97-win season.
Who steps-up this season and surprises us? Guys who should be leading candidates (because of poor 2012 performance or injury) are Stubbs, Mesoraco, Leake, and Masset. We could also see young guys like Cozart, Bruce, Hoover, and Cingrani continue to evolve in their development.
