Scouting Report

Lilek works from a three-quarter angle and is tough on lefties. He works steadily at 90-91 mph and will occasionally cut his fastball at 85-87. He locates his fastball exceptionally well and gets good extension toward the plate. He also mixes in a fringy breaking ball at 71-74 mph as well as a sharper breaking ball at 77-79 mph. He uses his changeup less at 81-84 mph. This is a well rounded lefty with feel for his secondary pitches and room to grow and add velocity.
