2012 Draft Scouting Report: Teddy Stankiewicz

Scouting Report

The height and weight speak for themselves in this case. Stankiewicz is a tall, strong athlete with a lot of room to grow. I could easily see him putting on an additional 15-20 pounds with ease. Stankiewicz sits steadily at 90-91 mph with good life and occasionally bumps 92. Given his frame, however, more velocity is likely on the way. His arm works well and he throws downhill, giving him solid fastball command, but his breaking ball is far more inconsistent. Size and velocity are working in his favor but the secondary attack needs development.
