Scouting Report

Brown is a big, physical right-hander that also shows some promise as position player. Ultimately he's likely to end up on the mound, however, mainly because of his 90-92 mph fastball and good life through the zone. He flashes a big league average curveball at 76-80, as well as a sharp slider at 81-84 mph. His changeup mixes in sparsely at 83-86. He's fairly consistent with his mechanics, so his command is there with his secondary pitches as well.
