Scouting Report

There's a great deal of catching in this high school class and De La Rosa is among the best in that group. He shows a quick release behind the plate and solid footwork. But, it's his bat that really stands out. De La Rosa shows off very consistent, plus raw power in batting practice and shows a relaxed approach in game action. He doesn't have the height, but De La Rosa shows outstanding strength and physical maturity.
