JONAH WESELY, LHP, TRACY H.S. (Calif.)
Wesely showed off electric stuff from the left side in Jupiter. He sat steadily at 90-92 mph with his fastball and flashed a potential plus slider at 80-82 mph. His changeup and breaking ball are also featured weapons in his arsenal, but it's going to be that slider that gets him swings and misses at the next level.
There's a lot of effort to Wesely's delivery, but that should also give him some deception against professional hitters. It has yet to adversely impact his command, as he threw four pitches fairly consistently for strikes in this outing. His changeup at 79-80 mph is already highly effective.
