AAA Toledo Mud Hens - Toledo 7, Louisville 2
32-47, 4th in West Division
The Mud Hens pulled off a 7-2 win over Louisville on Monday afternoon in Toledo. Thad Weber got the start and earned the win, his fourth of the year, giving up two runs on seven hits in seven innings of work. Brad Thomas and Enrique Gonzalez then each pitched a scoreless inning of relief to close the game out. Timo Perez had a big game at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double and a home run, driving in three runs total. Ryan Strieby also added a pair of doubles and drove in two runs, while Scott Thorman had two hits and two RBI. Danny Worth also ripped two doubles and scored twice for the club, and Will Rhymes reached base four times.
AA Erie Seawolves - Erie 7, Binghamton 1
37-38, 5th in Western Division
Casey Crosby marked his return to the mound from the disabled list with a strong start in Erie's 7-1 win over Binghamton. Crosby got the win, allowing just one hit and no runs in 5 2/3 innings with three walks and six strikeouts. Luis Marte then tossed 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief with five strikeouts. Jared Gayhart allowed the lone run in the ninth inning as he was unable to complete the shutout for the club. Deik Scram led the way at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double and a three run homer, driving in four runs total. Michael Bertram and Gustavo Nunez each had two hits apiece with an RBI.
A+ Lakeland Flying Tigers – Clearwater 4, Lakeland 2
1-2, 6th in North Division
Lakeland fell to Clearwater 4-2, with Jared Wesson taking the loss. Wesson allowed four runs on 11 hits in 5 1/3 innings of work. Ryan Robowski and Zach Samuels combined to not allow a run over the final 3 2/3 innings (with Robowski recording all but one of those outs). In two of the final three innings, Lakeland got the tying runs on base, but couldn't bring them home as the club went 2-for-11 with runners in scoring position. Julio Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Avisail Garcia and William Bergolla also each added a pair of hits.
A West Michigan Whitecaps - South Bend 4, West Michigan 2 (11)
2-2, t-4th in Eastern division
West Michigan fell to South Bend, 4-2, on Monday in 11 innings. Kevin Eichhorn got the start and was outstanding through eight innings, not yielding a run. But they tried to stretch him into the ninth where he faced three batters, and allowed all three to reach base. Bruce Rondon came on in relief, but allowed two of the runs to score to give up the 2-0 lead and earn his third blown save of the season. Logan Hoch would allow a pair of runs in the 11th to take the loss for the 'Caps. At the plate, Jeff Rowland went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, while Luis Sanz added a hit and an RBI.
SS-A Connecticut Tigers - Connecticut 6, Tri-City 0
5-4, t-1st in Stedler Division
Connecticut picked up a 6-0 shutout victory over Tri-City on Monday. Tyler Barrett led the way as the starter, tossing five scoreless innings while allowing two hits and striking out three to pick up his first win. From there, a quartet of relievers combined to complete the shutout, each tossing an inning apiece. Patrick Leyland had two hits and drove in two runs for the club, while Samir Rijo and Jeff Holm each added two hits and an RBI.

The GCL Tigers game with the GCL Yankees was suspended due to rain and will be completed on Tuesday morning.
R DSL Tigers - Postponed: Rain

R VSL Tigers - Reds 10, Tigers 5
12-23, 6th in VSL
The VSL Reds topped the VSL Tigers on Monday, 10-5. Johan Belisario got the start and pitched well, allowing one run in five innings of work. However, Jose Tablante struggled in his relief outing, giving up six runs (four earned), without recording an out. Tablante took the loss for the team. Jairo Sanchez however was the one that allowed the go-ahead runs to cross the plate, taking the blown save. He allowed three runs (one earned) of his own in his two innings. At the plate, Jesus Alvarado had a double and drove in three runs for the club. Gabriel Tenia and David Gonzalez also each added a double and an RBI.
