AAA Toledo Mud Hens
14-6, 1st in West Division
Casey Crosby gave up two earned runs over six innings as the Mud Hens won their fourth straight game, and 10th in 11 games. At the plate, Brad Eldred hit his fifth home run in three games, going 1-for-3. Danny Worth went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Brayan Villarreal, who will be called up to Detroit on Thursday, gave up two earned runs and two walks in 2/3 of an inning.
AA Erie Seawolves
7-10, T-4th in Eastern Division
Brandon Douglas went 3-for-6 with a double, an RBI and a run scored as the SeaWolves handed Andy Pettitte a loss in his comeback attempt. Pettitte gave up four runs (three earned) in five innings. Zack Segovia got the start for Erie and gave up three unearned runs over six innings, giving up two hits and two walks and recording the win. Rob Brantly went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Despite 10 runs on 14 hits, Erie only went 3-for-17 with runners in scoring position and left 13 runners on base.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
8-9, 3rd in North Division
Brian Flynn gave up six runs (five earned) on 11 hits over 4/2 innings, picking up the loss. Avisail Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored. Daniel Fields went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Ryan Woolley gave up three runs (one earned) over 2 1/3 innings out of the bullpen.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
9-10, 6th in Eastern Division
The Whitecaps were off Wednesday. They will next play Thursday at 8 p.m.
