Fu-Te Ni gave up three earned runs in the bottom of the first and Toledo couldn't climb out of the hole. Ni went six innings, giving up just three hits and two walks, but picked up the loss. Audy Ciriaco went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, his fifth of the season. Justin Henry went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Brayan Villarreal gave up one hit and struck out five in two innings of relief.

Tony Plagman smacked three home run in Erie's fourth-straight win. Plagman went 4-for-5 with the three homers and eight RBIs. Plagman had three home runs on the year entering the night. James Avery got the start and gave up three earned runs over five innings to move to 5-2 on the year. Avery allowed five hits and four walks. Niuman Romero went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored. The SeaWolves scored in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to turn what was a 3-2 deficit into an 11-3 lead.

18-16, 3rd in North Division

Alex Burgos gave up two earned runs over five innings to earn the win. It wasn't easy, as Burgos gave up six hits and five walks, but he got out of some jams. Nick Castellanos went 2-for-5 with a run scored. Wade Gaynor went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs. Matt Crouse pitched three scoreless innings in relief, and Bruce Rondon threw a scoreless ninth for his seventh save of the year.

17-19, 5th in Eastern Division

Wilsen Palacios lasted just three innings in the start, and West Michigan had to use five pitchers in the loss. Palacios gave up six runs (five earned). Nicholas Avila gave up two earned runs in the fourth, Warwick Saupold gave up three in the next 1 2/3 innings and Ramon Lebron gave up another in 1 1/3 innings. At the plate, Aaron Westlake went 2-for-3 with a double. Chad Wright went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.
