Rawley Bishop drove in two runs with a single in the bottom of the eighth and the SeaWolves held on for the win. Bishop went 1-for-4. James Avery gave up two earned runs in six innings in the start, but while he left the game with the lead, the runner he left on in the seventh scored to give him a no decision. Austin Wood gave up two hits over three scoreless innings and picked up the win. Rob Brantly went 2-for-4 with a double.

High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
23-21, T-2nd in North Division

Alex Burgos gave up five runs in the fifth inning and fell to 2-6 on the season. He allowed just three hits, but walked five. James McCann went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Nick Castellanos went 2-for-4 to bump his average up to .413.The Flying Tigers left 10 on base and went 1-for-10 with runners in scoring position.

Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
21-25, 7th in Eastern Division

Dean Green went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored as the Whitecaps offense exploded for a monster game. Six Whitecaps had multiple hits and five had multiple RBIs. Aaron Westlake went 1-for-44 with a three-run homer and Curt Casali went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and three runs scored. Wilsen Palacios gave up three earned runs over five innings and picked up the win.

Steven Fuentes went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two run scored as the Tigers came out on the right side of a crazy game. While the Rays scored seven runs in the fourth, the Tigers scored at least one run in each inning from the second to the eighth. Jose Medina gave up six runs (five earned) in two innings of relief. Adenson Verastegui pitched a perfect eighth and earned the win after an RBI groundout from Eliezer Castillo gave the Tigers the lead. Edgar Pina gave up three hits in the ninth, but picked up the save.
