Shawn Curtis (Orlando, Fla./Olympia) just got back from a four-school road trip. That quartet all resided in the state of North Carolina.

"I visited North Carolina State, North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest last week," Curtis said. "Honestly, the trip was great. The campuses were great. I had a chance to sit down with all the coaches."

Of the group did one stand out above the others?

"Yea, N.C. State," Curtis said. "I like N.C. State best out of that bunch. I just connected a little better with them then the others. I met them all and really liked the campus. They are not my leader. I am still wide open."

Curtis, a tackle, stands 6-foot-5 and 270-pounds. According to Curtis he has 17 offers. That list includes Syracuse, Duke, N.C. State, South Florida and Mississippi State.

"I am going to camp at FSU next month," Curtis said. "I am getting interest from them as well as from Florida and Wake Forest. I think Wake is about to offer me.

"I have some good options and plenty of options," Curtis said. "I just want to feel comfortable with the staff and it's also a little about their scheme."
