Bryan Pounds went 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs to lead Toledo at the plate, while Bryan Holaday went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Chris Bootcheck allowed one hit over the final 1 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up the save.

Tyler Stohr allowed a run in the bottom of the 12th and picked up the loss. Patrick Cooper gave up three earned runs over 6 1/3 innings in the start. Niuman Romero went 2-for-5 with a run scored, while Jordan Lennerton went 1-for-2 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored. Erie went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position.

High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers

Tyler Collins went 3-for-4 and a triple, two RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Flying Tigers. Shawn Teufel gave up two earned runs over 5 1/3 innings in the start. Victor Larez allowed six unearned runs in the seventh, but was still credited with a hold. Matt Crouse allowed one hit and picked up the save.

Eugenio Suarez went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored, while Chad Wright went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer.
