Casey Crosby allowed six earned runs over 5 2/3 innings and picked up the loss, as the game was called early in the seventh inning. Justin Henry and Audy Ciriaco picked up each Toledo hit. Al Alburquerque pitched to one batter and got an out before the game was called.
AA Erie Seawolves
50-63, 6th in Eastern Division
Ryan Robowski allowed an earned run in the bottom of the ninth and recorded the loss. Jared Gayhart gave up one unearned run over five innings in the start. Avisail Garcia went 2-for-4 with a run scored, while Corey Jones went 2-for-3 with a double.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
23-19, 3rd in North Division
Luis Sanz allowed one earned run over six innings in the start and moved to 9-3 on the season. Marcus Lemon went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored, while Tyler Collins went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Matt Little and Tyler Clark combined for three scoreless innings of relief.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
19-22, 6th in Eastern Division
Slade Smith gave up two earned runs in the bottom of the eighth and earned the loss. Smith allowed two hits and three walks in the inning. Brennan Smith gave up two earned runs over three innings in the start. At the plate, Jeff McVaney went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and two runs scored, while Chad Wright went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.
18-27, 4th in New York-Penn League Stedler
Jordan Dean hit an RBI-triple in the top of the 15th and the Tigers held on for the win. Dean went 2-for-7 with two triples and two RBIs, while Efrain Nieves pitched the final two scoreless innings and picked up the win. Edgar De La Rosa allowed two runs (one earned) over four innings in the start. Patrick Smith went 4-for-6 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored.
The Tigers' final game of the season at the Mariners was postponed.
22-26, T-3rd in San Pedro de Macoris
The Tigers' game against the Blue Jays was postponed.
27-14, 1st in GCL North
Yorfrank Lopez allowed four hits over five scoreless innings in the start and picked up the win. David Gonzalez went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, while Jesus Ustariz went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Andrew Harrison pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings of relief for his first save.
