Matt Hoffman allowed an earned run in the bottom of the ninth and recorded the loss. Thad Weber gave up three earned runs over eight innings, including the game-tying run in the bottom of the eighth. At the plate, John Lindsey went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, while Danny Dorn went 1-for-4 with a solo home run.
AA Erie Seawolves
53-72, 6th in Eastern Division
James Avery gave up two earned runs over seven innings in the start and recorded the loss. Jordan Lennerton went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, while Avisail Garcia went 2-for-4. Robbie Weinhardt struck out all six batters he faced in two innings of relief.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
29-25, 3rd in North Division
Wade Gaynor led off the bottom of the 13th with a home run for the walk-off win. Gaynor went 2-for-6. Daniel Schlereth allowed one walk in one scoreless inning in the start, while Matt Crouse picked up the win with a perfect inning of relief. Dean Green went 1-for-3 with a game-tying two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
27-27, T-5th in Eastern Division

Jeff McVaney went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer to lead the Whitecaps at the plate. Jeff Ferrell picked up the win after throwing 6 2/3 scoreless innings in the start. Will Clinard struck out all three batters in the ninth for the save. Lance Durham went 1-for-3 with a solo home run.
26-31, 4th in New York-Penn League Stedler
Josh Turley struck out five in three perfect innings of relief and recorded the win. Charles Gilles gave up one earned run over two innings in the start. Edgar Corcino went 1-for-2 with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored, while Danry Vasquez went 2-for-4. Joe Rogers pitched a perfect ninth for the save.

The Tigers were off on Saturday.

Brian Stroud gave up four earned runs over 2 2/3 innings in the start and picked up the loss. Luis Hidalgo allowed three earned runs in four innings of relief. Harold Castro went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI, while Austin Schotts went 1-for-5 with a run scored.
