AAA Toledo Mud Hens
60-84, 3rd in West Division
Brooks Brown allowed three earned runs over seven innings in the start, but Jose Ortega picked up the win after allowing one earned run over two innings of relief as the Mud Hens closed out the season. Ben Guez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, while Audy Ciriaco went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored.
AA Erie Seawolves
57-84, 6th in Eastern Division
In the season finale, Jared Wesson gave up two earned runs over seven innings in the start and recorded the loss. Wesson allowed nine hits and one walk while striking out 10. Tony Plagman went 2-for-3, while James McCann went 2-for-3. Robbie Weinhardt and Michael Morrison each pitched one scoreless inning of relief.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
37-29, 1st in North Division
The Flying Tigers were off on Tuesday. They begin the postseason on Wednesday.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
36-34, T-4th in Eastern Division
Shawn Teufel allowed four earned runs over four innings of relief and picked up the loss in the final game of the season. Chad Smith gave up two earned runs over four innings in the start. Lance Durham went 2-for-4 with a run scored, while Jason King went 1-for-3.
35-38, 2nd in New York-Penn League Stedler
Jake Stewart went 3-for-6 with two home runs and three runs scored to lead the Connecticut offense. Eric Heckaman allowed four runs (one earned) over 3 2/3 innings in the start, and Angel Nesbitt picked up the win, giving up one earned run over 3 1/3 innings of relief. Zach Kirksey went 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs.
