Toledo utilized four home runs to earn its fourth win in a row in Saturday's game against Rochester as the bats stayed hot for the Mud Hens, topping the Red Wings 8-1. Starting pitcher Ramon Garcia improved to 2-5 on the season with the win, allowing one earned run on four hits over 6 ? innings while striking out three. Nick Castellanos fueled the Toledo offense in the win, hitting his tenth home run and driving in two runs on a 3-for-5 night at the plate. Jordan Lennerton hit his eleventh homer of the season while Argenis Diaz and Kevin Russo also had home runs in the win.

Erie fell behind 5-0 early in Saturday's game against New Hampshire and failed to recover as the SeaWolves fell to the Fisher Cats 6-2. Erie has now lost eight of its last 9 games and the SeaWolves have fallen out of first place for the first time in over a month. Starting pitcher Victor Larez struggled out of the gate in falling to 5-3 on the season, surrendering five earned runs on eight hits in five innings of work. James McCann had a solid night at the plate for the SeaWolves, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Wade Gaynor also drove in a run in the loss.

Starting pitcher Endrys Briceno fell to 2-4 on the season with the loss, allowing two earned runs on five hits over six innings of work. Devon Travis led the offense in hitting, going 2-for-2 with a walk.

West Michigan had its worst game of the season in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against Lansing, scrounging up just one hit and falling to the Lugnuts 2-0. Starting pitcher Logan Elhers fell to 0-3 on the season despite having a decent start, giving up one earned run on five hits over four innings. Devon Travis was the lone ‘Caps hitter to tally a hit, going 1-for-3 with a single.

The VSL Tigers pitched their way to a victory on Saturday, allowing just one earned run and topping the Phillies 3-1. Starting pitcher Eudis Idrogo improved to 2-1 on the season with the win, shutting out the Phillies on one hit over five innings of work while striking out three. Johan Belisario earned his third save of the season in the win. Jose Ovalles continues to be hot for the Tigers at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the win.
