Starting pitcher Shawn Hill fell to 1-10 with the loss after allowing four earned runs on 9 hits over five innings. Danny Dorn kept the offense afloat for the Mud Hens, going 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in the loss.
AA Erie Seawolves
39-36, 2nd in Western Division
Erie struggled to generate much offense in Tuesday's game against Trenton, putting up only three hits as the SeaWolves were shut out by the Thunder 3-0. Victor Larez dropped his record to 6-4 in a losing start, allowing four earned runs on seven hits over six innings. No Erie hitter recorded multiple hits or an extra base hit in Tuesday's game, with the SeaWolves going 1-for-4 in the loss.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers

Lakeland gave up a one run lead by allowing four runs in the fourth inning of Tuesday's game against Daytona as the Flying Tigers fell to the Cubs 5-2. Starting pitcher Hudson Randall fell to 1-7 with the loss, allowing four earned runs on six hits over 3 ? innings. Jason King led the way offensively for West Michigan, hitting his fourth home run of the season and driving in three runs on a 2-for-5 night at the plate.

Connecticut nearly overcame an eight-run deficit in Tuesday's game against Tri-City but fell short as the Tigers fell to the ValleyCats 8-6. Starting pitcher Buck Farmer earned a no decision in his professional debut, shutting out Tri-City on two hits over two innings. Nick Carmichael fell to 0-2 on the season after earning the loss in relief. Kasey Coffman led the way out of the leadoff spot, going 1-for-4 with a home run and two runs driven in in the loss.
R DSL Tigers
15-6, 1st in Dominican Summer League San Pedro de Macoris
The DSL Tigers overcame a 4-2 deficit by scoring three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning of Tuesday's game against the Pirates, topping the Pirates 5-4. Starting pitcher Sandy Baez earned a no decision after allowing one earned run on six hits over five innings. Janry Obispo improved his record to 2-0 after earning the win in relief. Manuel Joseph gave the Tigers a boost at the plate in the win, going 2-for-3 with a double and two runs driven in.
R GCL Tigers
2-2, 2nd in Gulf Coast League
The GCL Tigers fell behind by three runs early in Wednesday's game against the Astros and could not recover, falling in a 6-1 final. Starting pitcher Emanuel Chavez fell to 0-1 on the season with the loss, allowing three earned runs on six hits over three innings. Aaron Sayers gave the Tigers their only real offense in the loss, going 1-for-3 with an RBI.
R VSL Tigers

The VSL Tigers utilized consistent scoring to top the Rays on Wednesday, winning by an 8-6 margin.
