Toledo scored six runs early in Sunday's matchup against Columbus and pitching handled the rest as the Mud Hens topped the Clippers 6-2. Starting pitcher Kyle Lobstein improved to 3-2 with the win, allowing two earned runs on eight hits over six innings. Danny Worth led the offense in the win, going 1-for-5 with two runs driven in.
AA Erie Seawolves
59-53, 2nd in Western Division
Erie scored eight runs in the first three innings of Sunday's game against New Britain and staved off a late comeback as the SeaWolves topped the Rock Cats 9-5. Matt Crouse improved to 7-9 after earning the win in the start, allowing five earned runs on eight hits over five innings. Eugenio Suarez had a big night at the plate, driving in four runs in the win. Daniel Fields added three runs for the SeaWolves.
High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers
48-56, 5th in North Division
Lakeland scored six runs in the final three innings of Sunday's game against Jupiter as the Flying Tigers topped the Hammerheads 8-3. Thomas Collier earned a no decision in the start after allowing three earned runs on 9 hits over five innings. Alex Burgos improved to 3-4 after earning the win in relief. Steven Moya was strong at the plate out of the designated hitter spot, going 2-for-5 with two doubles and two runs driven in.
Low-A West Michigan Whitecaps
54-56, 5th in Eastern Division
West Michigan fell behind by three runs before scoring 10 unanswered runs in Sunday's game against Dayton as the Whitecaps routed the Dragons 10-3. Starting pitcher Jake Thompson earned his second straight win after allowing two earned runs on seven hits over five innings. Harold Castro led the offense in the win, going 3-for-5 with three runs driven in.

Connecticut scored two runs in the third inning of Sunday's game against Mahoning Valley and relied on pitching for the rest of the game as the Tigers topped the Valley Scrappers 2-1. Joe Mantiply earned a no decision in the start after shutting out Mahoning Valley on two hits over three innings. Logan Elhers improved to 2-0 after earning the win in relief and Zac Reininger earned his sixth save of the season. Austin Schotts and Dominic Ficociello each drove in runs in the win.

Eduardo Jimenez earned a no decision in the start after shutting out the Cubs and leaving the team hitless over five innings. Junior Camaripano improved to 2-2 after earning the win in relief. Carlos Perez led the way offensively, going 4-for-6 with a double and three runs driven in in the win.
