Farrar's heading west

Henry Anderson in 2010, Jordan Watkins in 2012, and Arrington Farrar in 2015. In a five year span, Stanford will have gotten three of the top prospects in the state of Georgia and they all played at Woodward Academy…

Another top prospect out of Woodward Academy in College Park, Ga. has decided to head west and attend Stanford.

"I have committed to Stanford and I chose it over Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech," said Arrington Farrar. "Academics is the biggest reason I chose Stanford, but I like how they win a lot of football games there too."

Farrar is a versatile athlete who could play safety or outside linebacker on the next level. He is a 6-foot-1, 200 pound junior, so he is committing almost a year and a half early. He is firm with his decision.

Scout ranks Farrar as the No. 20 outside linebacker in the country. Look for a video interview with Farrar in the near future where he will go more in-depth about his commitment to the Cardinal.
