The lefty leads the FSL with the lowest WHIP and also currently has the third lowest ERA. Congrats to Turley, the new leader of the TigsTown Power Rankings.

3. RHP Jake Thompson - A+ Lakeland
76 IP | 3.08 ERA | 1.25 WHIP | 6-4 | 74 K | 25 BB |
Jake Thompson allowed four earned runs off nine hits over 5 1/3 innings against the Pirates Advanced-A affiliate. Thompson lasted just four innings in his second start of the week, allowing four runs off eight hits against the Tampa Yankees. Am I worried? No. Jake Thompson is a beast.
4. OF Steven Moya - AA Erie
303 AB | .261 AVG | .805 OPS | 21 2B | 2 3B | 18 HR | 12 SB
Steven Moya added two doubles and two homers since we last checked in. The 92 strikeouts to just nine walks is obviously extremely concerning. On the bright side, the 22-year-old continues to mash and is now has the second most homers and fourth most doubles in the Eastern League.
5. RHP Angel Nesbitt - AA Erie
40 1/3 IP | 0.89 ERA | 0.94 WHIP | 2-0 | 37 K | 11 BB | 15 SV
Angel Nesbitt threw 4 1/3 innings of scoreless ball over his last three appearances last week. Nesbitt continues to get ahead and pound the strike zone with his mid-to-upper 90s fastball.
6. 2B Devon Travis - AA Erie
176 AB | .284 AVG | .781 OPS | 10 2B | 4 3B | 4 HR | 6 SB
Devon Travis went 10-for-28 with another stolen base. Travis finished June with an impressive .309 batting average .890 OPS.
7. 2B Hernan Perez - AAA Toledo

Hernan Perez makes his TigsTown Power Rankings debut after an impressive .343 batting average and .929 OPS in June. Perez is showing no signs of slowing down either, batting .565 over his first two games in July.
8. SS Willy Adames - A West Michigan
262 AB | .275 AVG | .801 OPS | 13 2B | 10 3B | 4 HR | 2 SB

9. OF Derek Hill - GCL
42 AB | .357 AVG | .967 OPS | 1 2B | 2 3B | 0 HR | 4 SB
Derek Hill, the Tigers first rounder from this year's June Draft is off to an impressive start in the GCL. Hill is batting .357 with three extra-base hits and as many walks as strikeouts (9) over his first 42 pro at-bats.
10. OF Michael Gerber - SS Connecticut
51 AB | .451 AVG | 1.430 OPS | 9 2B | 3 3B | 3 HR | 1 SB
Michael Gerber has been on fire since he signed his contract and reported to short-season Connecticut. The Tigers 15th rounder from this year's June Draft leads the NYPL in doubles, triples, and batting average. I don't believe anyone expects Gerber to sustain this impressive pace; regardless, it's a helluva start that's worth noting.
