2015 West Michigan Whitecaps Roster

The Whitecaps featured a star-studded rotation last season, and get to tout having last year's top two draft picks this year, including the top player in the Detroit Tigers organization, as rated by TigsTown, Derek Hill. In addition to Hill, ten more members of the TigsTown Top 50 will be in West Michigan - find out who they are!

The Whitecaps roster in 2015 will be highlighted by outfielder and 2014 first round pick Derek Hill. The day he joined the organization, he immediately vaulted to the top of the prospect rankings, and sits as TigsTown's number one ranked player.

In addition, the rotation won't have the same stars as it did in 2014, but will still be led by last year's second round pick Spencer Turnbull, another member of the TigsTown Top Ten.

In addition to those two, nine more TigsTown Top 50 members are on the roster. Joining Hill in the outfield is Ross Kivett, and behind the plate is Franklin Navarro and Shane Zeile (who will start the year on the DL), and in the infield will be Joey Pankake and Zach Shepherd.

On the mound, there are a number of talented arms, including a few that were recent draft picks. That includes Artie Lewicki and Adam Ravenelle. Also taking the mound are power righty Joe Jimenez and 2013 third rounder Jeff Thompson.
