1. RHP Paul Voelker - AA Erie

Paul Voelker saw just one inning of work last week. The 22-year-old right-hander earned his thirteenth save of the season after tossing a scoreless inning. Voelker hasn't allowed a run since June 22nd, a span of 6 1/3 innings. His mid-90s fastball and potential plus slider has dominated the opposition at all three levels of play this season. Voelker continues to establish himself as a rising prospect in Detroit's farm system.
2. RHP Joe Jimenez - A West Michigan
26 IP | 1.73 ERA | 0.92 WHIP | 1-Mar | 39 K | 9 BB | 10 SV
Joe Jimenez picked up his tenth save of the season in his lone appearance of the week for the 'Caps. The 20-year-old flame-thrower also struck out one in 2/3 of a scoreless inning at the MLB All-Star Futures Game.
3. RHP Gabe Hemmer - A+ Lakeland
43 1/3 IP | 1.04 ERA | 0.99 WHIP | 2-Jan | 44 K | 12 BB | 3 SV
Gabe Hemmer has tossed 8 1/3 scoreless innings since his promotion to Advanced-A Lakeland. Predominantly utilizing a low-90s fastball and an average 83-84 mph slider, Hemmer boasts an impressive 0.77 ERA and 0.86 WHIP with 20 strikeouts over his last ten appearances -- a span of 23 1/3 innings.
4. RHP Drew Smith - SS Connecticut
14 2/3 IP | 0.61 ERA | 0.68 WHIP | 1-Jan | 17 K | 2 BB | 1 SV
Drew Smith, the Tigers 3rd rounder in the recent June Draft, has dominated NYPL batters thus far. The 21-year-old right-hander has a tidy 0.61 ERA and 0.68 WHIP with 17 strikeouts over 14 2/3 innings.
5. LHP Josh Turley - AA Erie
98 1/3 IP | 2.84 ERA | 1.23 WHIP | Sep-15 | 63 K | 24 BB |
Josh Turley scattered nine hits and a walk, allowing three runs over 6 2/3 innings, recording his ninth win of the season. The 24-year-old left-hander has quietly put together another solid season, posting a 2.84 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 98 1/3 innings at Double-A Erie.
6. OF Michael Gerber - A West Michigan
320 AB | .319 AVG | .848 OPS | 17 2B | 6 3B | 6 HR | 13 SB
Michael Gerber went 5-for-14 (.357) with two walks since we last checked in. Gerber is batting .300 over his last ten games; and the 23-year-old outfielder's .319 batting-average and .848 OPS are fourth and fifth best respectably in the MidWest League this season.
7. 1B Dominic Ficociello - A+ Lakeland

Dominic Ficociello has cooled off a bit at the plate this past week. The 23-year-old first-baseman went just 4-for-13 since we last checked in. Regardless, Ficociello's .297 batting average and .765 OPS over 327 at-bats are seventh and ninth best in the FSL this season.
8. RHP Spencer Turnbull - A West Michigan

Spencer Turnbull picked up his seventh win of the season, scattering eight hits and a walk, yielding two earned-runs over the six inning start. The 22-year-old former second rounder has a solid 3.08 ERA over 73 innings for the 'Caps. Command comes and goes however, as shown in his elevated 1.42 WHIP.
9. DH Dean Green - AA Erie
250 AB | .316 AVG | .872 OPS | 9 2B | 1 3B | 10 HR |
Dean Green is batting 12-for-28 (.429) since returning from the disabled list. The 26-year-old DH's .316 batting average and .872 OPS are third best in the Eastern League this season.
10. SS Dixon Machado - AAA Toledo
301 AB | .272 AVG | .692 OPS | 15 2B | 0 3B | 4 HR | 11 SB
Dixon Machado has picked things up at the plate after a bit of a drought; he's batting .282 over his last ten games. Overall, the slick-fielding shortstop is exceeding expectations at the plate, batting .272 with a .683 OPS this season for the MudHens.
