Drew Smith, the Tigers 3rd rounder in the recent June Draft, continues dominate NYPL batters, holding them to a .156 batting-average. The 21-year-old right-hander has a miniscule 0.50 ERA and 0.67 WHIP with 21 strikeouts over 18 innings. Armed with an electric fastball that has scraped the high-90s, Smith could be a fast riser in the Tigers farm system. He was recently tabbed the Tigers 12th best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
2. RHP Tyler Alexander - SS Connecticut

Tyler Alexander, the Tigers second rounder in the recent June Draft, has been nearly perfect thus far. The 21-year-old southpaw hasn't allowed a run and has allowed just two hits and three walks over 13 innings. Alexander was recently tabbed the Tigers 8th best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
3. RHP Paul Voelker - AA Erie

Paul Voelker saw just two innings of work last week. The 22-year-old right-hander earned his 14th save of the season after allowing a run off three hits. Voelker was recently tabbed the Tigers 29th best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
4. RHP Joe Jimenez - A West Michigan
28 1/3 IP | 1.59 ERA | 0.85 WHIP | 42064 | 43 K | 9 BB | 10 SV
Joe Jimenez tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out four, over his two appearances this past week. The 20-year-old flame-thrower has a tidy 0.53 ERA with 21 strikeouts and just five walks over his last 17 innings. Jimenez was recently tabbed the Tigers 7th best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
5. RHP Gabe Hemmer - A+ Lakeland
45 2/3 IP | 0.99 ERA | 1.01 WHIP | 42006 | 45 K | 12 BB | 3 SV
Gabe Hemmer has tossed 2 1/3 more scoreless innings, bring the grand total to 10 2/3 innings since his promotion to Advanced-A Lakeland. The 25-year-old reliever boasts an impressive 0.79 ERA and 0.88 WHIP with 19 strikeouts over his last ten appearances -- a span of 22 2/3 innings.
6. OF Christin Stewart - A West Michigan

Christin Stewart's pro career is off to a hot start, he's batting .313 with five doubles, three triples and four homers, and a .921 OPS over 96 at-bats. Stewart has responded well to his recent promotion to Class-A West Michigan, batting .400 with a .945 OPS over 25 at-bats. The 21-year-old outfielder was also recently tabbed the Tigers 5th best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
7. RHP Spencer Turnbull - A West Michigan

Spencer Turnbull picked up his eighth win of the season, scattering five hits and two walks, yielding just one earned-run over 6 1/3 innings. The 22-year-old former second rounder has a solid 2.95 ERA over 79 1/3 innings for the 'Caps this season. His 41 walks however are undoubtedly a concern. Turnbull was recently tabbed the Tigers 9th best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
8. SP Beau Burrows - Rookie / GCL

Beau Burrows, the Tigers first rounder in the recent June Draft, has settled after a rough debut where he allowed a pair of runs off two hits and two walks over 1 2/3 innings. Since then, the 18-year-old right-handed has struck out ten over nine scoreless innings. Burrows was recently tabbed the Tigers top prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
9. SP Endrys Briceno - Rookie / GCL

Endrys Briceno has looked impressive during his four game rehab stint with the GCL Tigers. The fastball has scraped as high as 95 mph and it still features the late life that raised eyebrows prior to his Tommy John surgery last year. Briceno was recently activated to Lakeland's roster after posting a tidy 1.59 ERA, and 0.88 WHIP, with 16 strikeouts over 11 1/3 innings. He was also recently tabbed the Tigers 22nd best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
10. OF Michael Gerber - A West Michigan
340 AB | .318 AVG | .852 OPS | 17 2B | 7 3B | 7 HR | 14 SB
Michael Gerber is 11-for-38 (.289) with three walks over his last ten games. The 23-year-old outfielder's .318 batting-average is 4th best, and his .852 OPS and 52 RBI are 3rd best in the MidWest League this season. Gerber was recently tabbed the Tigers 24th best prospect in the TigsTown Midseason Top 50.
