The Major League Baseball season may be over, but that doesn't mean the games stop. Dozens of players from each organization head across the globe to continue honing their craft. Here's how Tigers players are faring in various fall and winter leagues.
Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) - Four representatives of the Tigers saw game action last week, including Jairo Labourt, who pitched for the first time since November 18th. The layoff apparently had an effect on him, as he only recorded one out while walking three and giving up two earned runs. Confesor Lara was slightly better, tossing 3 2/3 innings over three outings and giving up six hits and three earned runs. But Jose Valdez was dominant, giving up just a single hit and striking out three over five scoreless innings. Steven Moya had a rough week at the plate, going just 2-for-20, but he made those two hits count. He bashed a triple and his third home run of the LIDOM season, and knocked in four runs.

|Jose Valdez||11||11 2/3||3||0||0||0||6||4||3||8||3.09|
Venezuelan Professional Baseball League - There was surprisingly little noise from Tigers prospects in Venezuela last week, as only four players saw game action. Pitcher Alfred Gutierrez got into one game, gave up a hit, and didn’t record an out, while catcher Miguel Gonzalez also only played once, going 0-3 at the plate. Infielder Harold Castro got into two contests, going 2-for-8 and hitting his first HR, and reliever Bruce Rondon also made it into two games, picking up a win as he tossed two scoreless innings, walked two, and struck out three.

Liga de Beisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente - As usual, Joe Jimenez was the only Tiger in action in Puerto Rico. He got into two games, pitched two scoreless innings and picked up his fourth save, though he did give up three hits to just one strikeout.

Mexican Pacific League - Julio Felix continued the trend of Tigers prospects getting scant action last week, as he pitched just a single inning. That was enough to give up a hit, an earned run, and pick up his first loss of the MPL season, though.

Australian Baseball League - Calvin Drummond probably wishes he would have pitched in more than one game last week, because his lone outing was disastrous. He recorded just two outs, gave up three hits, surrendered a home run, hit a batter, and walked four en route to giving up six earned runs. His ERA jumped by nearly five runs. Infielder Aaron Sayers remains out with a hand injury.

Liga Paralela - The Liga Paralela Tigers played five times times last week, going 2-3 and bringing their record to 12-28-2.
