Jackson Melian singled home Mike Hollimon for the second run. Harrisburg took over scoring six unanswered runs as the Erie bats went cold. The SeaWolves had just four hits after the third inning and had a total of nine in the game. Clete Thomas went 2-for-4 and Hollimon went 2-for-5 to pace the SeaWolves. A West Mich. Whitecaps – LANSING 3, W. MICH. 1
1-4, 5th in Eastern division

Julio Pinto gave up a two-run walk-off home run to Lansing's Brian Pettway in the ninth inning Thursday to hand the Whitecaps a 3-1 loss at Oldsmobile Park. Lack of run support spoiled a fantastic performance by starting pitcher Chris Cody, who had 11 strikeouts while giving up only two hits and an unearned run over 6 2/3 innings. West Michigan scored their only run in the third inning on a single by Chris Emanuele that scored Deik Scram. The Whitecaps return home Friday for a 6:35 p.m. match up with South Bend.
