AAA Toledo Mud Hens – DURHAM 3, TOLEDO 1
49-36, 1st in West division
The Mud Hens turned six hits into only one run and lost to Durham for the second straight night. Ron Chiavacci recorded the loss, his fifth of the season after allowing only one earned run on six hits. He walked three batters and struck out seven. Chris Shelton had the lone RBI on one of two 'Hens doubles which scored Kevin Hooper who also reached base on a double. The 'Hens will be pitted against Durham again on Tuesday with left hander Jon Connolly taking the mound.

AA Erie SeaWolves – AKRON 7, ERIE 5
45-36, 2nd in Southern division
The Erie SeaWolves dropped their third consecutive game to the Akron Aeros losing 7-5. The SeaWolves hit four home runs but managed only seven hits in the game. Three of those hits came from Steve Torrealba who was 3-for-3 with two home runs, two runs scored and two RBI. Andres Torres also hit a home run and was 1-for-3 with two runs scored. The fourth home run came off the bat of Mike Hollimon who was 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. Jair Jurrjens suffered the loss allowing seven hits and three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings pitched. The SeaWolves will try to avoid a four game sweep by Akron at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday. Eddie Bonine will pitch for Erie against Scott Lewis.

A+ Lakeland Flying Tigers – FT. MYERS 4, LAKELAND 0
5-6, 4th in West division
The Flying Tigers lost to the Ft. Myers Miracle Monday night, 4-0. Starting pitcher Eleazar Aponte pitched 5 and 2/3 innings and surrendered two runs. He was then relieved by Jacob Ramos who allowed two runs in 2/3 inning. Derek Witt finished off the game, allowing zero hits. On the offensive side, Lakeland managed only five hits. Justin Justice batted 2-for-3 on the night and Will Rhymes batted 1-for-3 with a walk. The two teams will meet again Tuesday night at 7:05 PM. Starting pitchers have yet to be announced.

A West Mich. Whitecaps – S. BEND 4, W. MICH. 2
9-3, 1st in Eastern division
The Whitecaps lost the final game of their series with South Bend Monday 4-2. West Michigan jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the third on a Brennan Boesch RBI single and a wild pitch that allowed Boesch to score. The lead was quickly surrendered in the bottom of the inning, however, on a bases-loaded double from Daniel Perales off of Lauren Gagnier that cleared the bases. Gagnier took the loss, allowing four earned runs on six hits with four walks and six strikeouts over five innings. James Skelton went 2-for-5 with a double. West Michigan begins a home-and-home series at Fort Wayne Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.

SS-A Oneonta Tigers – ONEONTA 7, VERMONT 6
8-6, 2nd in Stedler division
Oneonta squeaked out a 7-6 victory over Vermont on Monday evening, closing a 6-3 gap in the final two innings. A Cory Middleton single in the eighth scored two runs to get the team within one run, and then in the bottom of the ninth, a wild pitch let Casper Wells score, tying the game, and then Kody Kaiser ripped a walk-off ground rule double. Kaiser was 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored, while Michael Sullivan had two hits and two runs scored. Mark Brackman got a no decision as the starter, giving up five runs (four earned) in 4 2/3 innings. Adriano Santos earned his first win for pitching the final two innings without allowing a run. Oneonta wraps up their series with Vermont on Tuesday evening at 7:00pm.
R GCL Tigers – PPD: RAIN
6-5, 3rd in North division
The GCL Tigers and GCL Phillies were rained out on Monday afternoon. The Tigers travel to Tampa to take on the GCL Yankees on Tuesday at noon.
