TigsTown Power Rankings: 12th Edition

A trade and an injury have shaken up the top of the TigsTown Power Rankings. Who has claimed the top slot after two top performers have fallen off? Has Mike Hessman's power run finally landed him on top?

1. (LWR: 2) IF Mike Hessman (TOL)
Hessman claims the top slot after another monster power week – he's now pushing for the minor league home run lead. Hessman also drove in 13 runs for the week

2. (LWR: 5) IF Jack Hannahan (TOL)
Hannahan also had a big RBI week, bringing home nine ‘Hens baserunners. But most impressive about Hannahan's week were the 10 walks he took

3. (LWR: 3) 2B Mike Hollimon (ERI)
Hollimon holds his place as he also had a productive RBI week, bringing home 9 SeaWolves while ripping a home run and a double

4. (LWR: NR) SP Matt O'Brien (WMI)
O'Brien comes out of nowhere to jump way up the rankings – that will happen when you make two shutout starts (no runs over 14 innings), picking up two wins in the process

5. (LWR: 6) OF Ryan Raburn (TOL)
Raburn just continues to hit the cover off the ball, ripping four more extra base hits in helping drive the Mud Hen offense

6. (LWR: 7) SP Jordan Tata (TOL)
Tata pitched well en route to a Toledo victory as he tries to work himself back into top form to force the Tigers hand and give him a shot in the bullpen

7. (LWR: NR) 1B Jeff Larish (ERI)
Larish has been bouncing on and off the power rankings all season; back on this week, with three home runs and 11 RBI as his big mark this time around

8. (LWR: NR) 2B Scott Sizemore (WMI)
Sizemore had a huge week for ‘Caps, hitting over .500 with seven extra base hits, raising his OPS significantly in just one week

9. (LWR: 12) OF Clete Thomas (ERI)
Thomas hit over .400 for the week as he continues to quietly have a solid season for the SeaWolves; also had 3 doubles

10. (LWR: NR) SP Jair Jurrjens (ERI)
Jurrjens was masterful this past week, picking up a win for Erie while striking out 9 batters in 7 1/3 innings

11. (LWR: NR) SP Yorman Bazardo (TOL)
Bazardo picked up two wins for the ‘Hens as he's been quietly consistent all season long; gave up four runs over 13 innings of work to debut on the power rankings

12. (LWR: 9) SP Dallas Trahern (ERI)
Trahern falls a bit, but not completely out of the power rankings, giving up four runs over six innings of work

13. (LWR: 13) C James Skelton (WMI)
Skelton still working with limited playing time continues to produce and keep his OPS up – also had 2 doubles for the week

14. (LWR: 15) OF Wilkin Ramirez (LAK)
Ramirez continues to show glimpses of his enormous potential, blasting three more extra base hits last week

15. (LWR: NR): RP Brett Jensen (WMI)
Jensen was a perfect 3-for-3 in save opportunities last week, shutting the door without allowing a run and striking out 4
