AAA Toledo Mud Hens – DURHAM 6, TOLEDO 5

Toledo got some lumps after blowing a three run lead to Durham in another loss Tuesday night in one of the worst slumps of the season. A bright spot for the victory-starved 'Hens was Ryan Raburn who hit a home run and finished 2-for-4 with two RBI. Henry Mateo had a single, a double and a run and Timo Perez and Dane Sardinha each added a run and an RBI. Jon Connolly earned the loss on the evening after allowing five runs on five hits (including three home runs) in five and one thirds innings pitched. Connolly did manage to strikeout six batters, while walking none.Virgil Vasquez will take the mound for the Mud Hens against Columbus Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.

AA Erie SeaWolves – ERIE 5, AKRON 3
46-36, 2nd in Southern division
The SeaWolves scored four runs in the third inning in a 5-3 victory over the Akron Aeros. Starting pitcher Eddie Bonine earned the victory allowing seven hits and one earned run in 6 1/3 innings. Roman Colon pitched the final two innings and allowed three hits and two earned runs in earning the save. Matt Joyce and Clete Thomas led the 'Wolves offensively. Joyce was 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI. Clete Thomas was 3-for-3 with a run scored in the game. The SeaWolves will take on the Reading Phillies on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. The pitching matchup is RHP Matt Righter (2-1, 2.30 ERA) for Erie against RHP Chris Rojas (2-3, 6.35 ERA) for Reading.

A+ Lakeland Flying Tigers – LAKELAND 4, FT. MYERS 2
6-6, 4th in West division
The Flying Tigers defeated the Ft. Myers Miracle Tuesday night, 4-2. Starting pitcher Josh Rainwater pitched 3 and 1/3 innings and surrendered two runs. He was then relieved by Ricky Steik who pitched 2 and 2/3 innings and gave up zero runs. Three pitchers combined for the final three innings and allowed only two hits. On the offensive side, Rafael Mendez batted 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Ovandy Suero and Shawn Roof each registered an RBI each as well. Lakeland will return home Wednesday night to play Clearwater at 5:00 PM. Starting pitchers have yet to be announced.

A West Mich. Whitecaps – FT. WAYNE 8, W. MICH. 3
9-4, 1st in Eastern division
Luis Marte was roughed up in his Whitecaps debut Tuesday as West Michigan fell to Fort Wayne 8-3. Making his first start since his promotion from the Gulf Coast League, Marte allowed eight runs (7 ER) on ten hits over four innings, but did strike out seven. Brennan Boesch had two hits, two RBI and a run scored, while Santo De Leon went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI. Matt O'Brien will take to the hill for West Michigan at Fort Wayne Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

SS-A Oneonta Tigers – VERMONT 8, ONEONTA 7
8-7, 2nd in Stedler division
On Monday, the O-Tigers were able to pull out a one run victory, but on Tuesday, it went the other way, as they came up one run short, falling 8-7 to Vermont. Guillermo Moscoso was excellent as the starter, however Jose Fragoso gave up five runs in just one inning, and then Rudy Darrow gave up the lead, and eventually took the loss. Kody Kaiser went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, while Devin Thomas added a solo home run, and Ryan Seawell drove in a pair of runs. Having now wrapped up their series with Vermont, they now host Lowell for a three game set, starting Wednesday evening at 7:00pm.
R GCL Tigers – PPD: RAIN
6-5, 3rd in North division
The GCL Tigers and GCL Yankees were rained out on Tuesday afternoon, making the Tigers second straight rain out. The Tigers will play a doubleheader in Lakeland with the GCL Yankees starting at 10:00am.
