It was an offensive onslaught on Monday for the Mud Hens, as they crushed Indianapolis 10-1. Phil Dumatrait got the win, allowing just one run in five innings of work, while Scot Drucker picked up his first save of the season, pitching the final four innings, allowing just two hits and no runs with a pair of strikeouts. Brennan Boesch, Brent Dlugach and Danny Worth each drove in a pair of runs (including Boesch belting another home run), while Jeff Larish also chipped in with two hits, a walk and two runs scored.

The SeaWolves are on a winning streak now, after topping Bowie 5-3 Monday for their third straight win. Jon Kibler led the way, giving the 'Wolves seven strong innings, allowing three runs (two earned) while striking out four. Luis Marte pitched the final two innings to earn the save, with three strikeouts. The long ball led the way for Erie, with four of the five runs coming via home runs. Wilkin Ramirez belted a solo shot on a day that he went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI, while Andy Dirks also had a solo shot, and Deik Scram added a two run blast.

The Whitecaps fell 5-3 to Great Lakes on Monday, not proving able to muster enough offense to keep pace with the Loons. Jade Todd took the loss but had a solid outing, giving up three runs (two earned) in five innings of work with a walk and six strikeouts. Nate Newman allowed a pair of runs in relief as well. The offense though managed just five hits, though they did also work six walks. Eric Roof had two of the hits plus a walk, while Michael Rockett had a double (the only extra base hit of the night) and scored a run.
