The Mud Hens exited Columbus with a series victory and a first place tie in the division after their 10-1 win over the Clippers. Enrique Gonzalez pitched strong to earn the win, giving up one unearned run in six innings of work with no walks and five strikeouts. The man he was throwing to from the mound was the star at the plate, with catcher Mike Rabelo driving in five of the Hens' ten runs, including a three run homer. Danny Worth also had a nice game, going 2-for-4 with a double and a two run shot of his own. Jeff Frazier and Max Leon each chipped in with two hits and an RBI.

All of the other minor league clubs had much needed days off to get a little rest.
