The Mud Hens dropped their series finale with Norfolk on Sunday, falling 4-1. Ryan Ketchner took his first loss as a Mud Hen this season despite turning in a quality start, giving up three runs (two earned) in six innings of work. Casey Fien also gave up an unearned run in two innings of relief, as each pitcher was victimiezd by a Toledo error, both from Brent Dlugach. Casper Wells chipped in with two hits, but Jeff Larish provided the only run scoring of the game for Toledo, belting a solo home run for the club's only run.

The SeaWolves out-slugged Altoona, but need to hold on from a rally late to pull out a 10-7 win. Andrew Oliver earned the victory for Erie with a very good start, going 7 1/3 innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits. He also struck out three. However, Altoona got three runs off Jared Gayhart, and one more off Brendan Wise in the ninth before he was able to shut things down and preserve the win. As has been the case for much of the season, Wilkin Ramirez led the way at the plate once again, going 2-for-5 with a double and four RBI. Michael Bertram also added a two run home run, while Max St. Pierre and Josh Burrus each added a solo shot.

The Whitecaps pitching staff was beat up on Sunday, as they gave up ten runs on 20 hits en route to a 10-7 defeat to Bowling Green. The pitchers also weren't helped by four Whitecaps errors in the field that resulted in a pair of unearned runs. Trevor Feeney took the loss, giving up seven runs (six earned) on 13 hits in four innings of work. Luis Angel Sanz gave up two more in 2 2/3 innings, and Cory Hamilton gave up a run in his 2 1/3 innings of work. Avisail Garcia and Jordan Lennerton each drove in a pair of runs, while Wade Gaynor (who committed two of the team's four errors) went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI.
