Erie picked up a win in a high scoring affair on Memorial Day, topping Harrisburg 11-9. The game was actually quite comfortable for the 'Wolves for most of the game, until the ninth when Harrisburg got four runs off Anthony Shawler to make it interesting. But he eventually settled and got the outs needed to preserve the win. Jon Kibler earned the win as the starter, giving up four runs over seven innings of work. Audy Ciriaco once again went yard, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Cale Iorg also had a big day, going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Cesar Nicolas and Shawn Roof each drove in a pair of runs as well.

It wasn't a pretty day for the VSL Tigers, as they were hammered 14-2 by the VSL Reds. Johan Belisario got the start but didn't last long, giving up five runs while recording just one out. The VSL Tigers would then use five more relievers, without much success, though Manuel Morandi and Julio Guilarte each had scoreless appearances. David Lizardo and Wilfredo Hoyer each drove in a run for the club in the loss.
