Toledo suffered yet another one run loss to Louisville, falling on Wednesday, 4-3. Ryan Ketchner got the start, allowing three runs (two earned) in five innings of work, but Casey Fien took the loss for allowing the winning run in his two innings of relief. Andy Dirks belted a solo home run and drove in two runs total, while Scott Sizemore added a double, a run and an RBI.

The SeaWolves picked up their sixth straight win as they topped New Britain 7-6. Anthony Shawler got roughed up a bit as the starter, allowing all six runs on 11 hits in 5 1/3 innings of work. Cory Hamilton earned the win in relief for tossing a perfect inning, while Lester Oliveros picked up the save. Brandon Douglas ripped two doubles and drove in two runs while Kody Kaiser added three hits and scored once.

The Whitecaps picked up a 5-3 win over Bowling Green on Wednesday, holding off a late rally from Bowling Green. Victor Larez got the start and the win, giving up a run on four hits in six innings. Zach Samuels allowed a pair of runs but didn't yield the lead, while Kenny Faulk recorded the final four outs for the save. Jamie Johnson had a double, a run and two RBI and Corey Jones added two hits including a double and an RBI.

The CT-Tigers picked up an 8-3 win over Jamestown, led by a strong performance from Josue Carreno. Carreno allowed a run on six hits in six innings with six strikeouts. Tyler Clark got the final four outs while giving up an unearned run to pick up the save. Alexander Nunez had two hits including a triple and drove in three runs, while Londell Taylor added a two run homer.
