The Mud Hens picked up a 7-4 win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday. Alfredo Figaro picked up the win with a quality start, giving up three runs over seven innings of work. He allowed ten hits, but struck out an impressive 11 batters. Brendan Wise and Casey Fien each pitched an inning of relief to close the game out. The long ball led the way for Toledo, with Andy Dirks belting a two run shot, Ben Guez ripping a three run blast, and Max St. Pierre adding a solo home run to the mix.

The SeaWolves squeaked out a 3-2 win over Bowie in ten innings on Sunday, taking the game and the series. In the bottom of the tenth, the SeaWolves brought Brandon Douglas home via a Rawley Bishop single to score the walk-off winning run. The run earned the win for Luis Marte, who gave up the inherited tying run in relief, but would go 3 1/3 innings in relief without allowing a run himself. He also struck out five. Thad Weber got the start and a no decision, giving up two runs on three hits in 6 2/3 innings - he also struck out 11. Bishop was the star at the plate, driving in all three run SeaWolves runs, including a solo home run.

The Flying Tigers picked up a 6-0 shutout victory over Clearwater on Sunday, with Jon Kibler leading the way. Kibler tossed seven shutout innings, scattering seven hits with six strikeouts. Jay Voss pitched the final two innings to wrap up the win. At the plate, Brent Wyatt and Francisco Martinez each belted two run homers, while Jordan Lennerton added two hits including a double and two RBI.

Mirroring the results of their A-ball brethren, the Whitecaps picked up a 6-0 shutout win over South Bend. Jared Wesson got the win, tossing six shutout innings with 11 strikeouts. Zach Samuels earned the save for pitching the final three innings and completing the shutout. Wade Gaynor had two hits including a double and drove in two runs for the club, while Jamie Johnson added two hits, a walk, a run scored and an RBI.

Connecticut fell to Auburn 2-0 on Sunday as they take a loss into their brief All-Star break. Rayni Guichardo took the loss, giving up a pair of runs in five innings of work. The bullpen held Auburn scoreless over the final four innings, but the CT-Tigers couldn't get anything going at the plate, managing just three hits, all singles. Eric Roof had two of the club's three hits.
