The SeaWolves picked up a 4-3 win in ten innings, topping Harrisburg. In the top of the tenth, Brandon Douglas led off the inning with a double, was moved over to third, and then scored on a Rawley Bishop RBI groundout. Lester Oliveros then came on in the bottom of the tenth to seal the win. Anthony Shawler turned in a quality start, giving up three runs over seven innings of work. Jay Voss earned the win for recording the final two outs in the ninth. Brandon Jones also chipped in with two hits and an RBI.
The Flying Tigers also pulled out an extra inning victory, topping Clearwater 3-2 in 14 innings. Jordan Lennerton finally took matters into his own hands, belting a solo home run as the leadoff man in the 14th inning, providing the game winning run. Matt Little got the win in relief, while Jared Gayhart picked up the save. Luke Putkonen was the starter, allowing two runs in 6 1/3 innings of work with five strikeouts. At the plate, Gustavo Nunez added three hits and scored twice, while Daniel Fields added two hits including a double, and four players took a pair of walks.
The GCL Tigers fell to the GCL Phillies for the second straight day, this time falling 8-3. Jeff Ferrell took the loss, giving up four runs on four hits in 7 1/3 innings of work. Patrick Leyland drove in a pair of runs, while Javier Azcona added two hits including a double and scored once.
The DSL Tigers fell to the DSL Blue Jays 6-4 in a rain shortened game. Luis Hidalgo got the start and did well, giving up two runs (one earned) in five innings of work. However, Alvin Acosta didn't have the same success in relief, giving up four runs in one-plus innings to take the loss. Samuel Crafort had two hits and an RBI for the club.
