In rounds 27-29, the Twins took three high school catchers. In rounds 27-29, the Twins went with a bunch of high school catchers. In the 27th round, they selected Joseph Tribou, a good stick from Northeast High School in Florida. He was twice named All-County in a division that has a good reputation in the state of Florida.

In the 28th round, they picked up a kid who could be a catcher, or could make the move to first base. Dustin Williams, a 6'3'' monster from Woodlawn High School in Arkansas, may become a draft-and-follow.

Then, in the 29th round, the Twins took St. Cloud (FL) High School catcher Braxton Chisholm. Braxton has signed to have a full scholarship to Okaloosa-Walton Junior College in the Panhandle. Some say he has an unorthodox throwing style, but he was one of the better players in Central Florida this past season.
