Twins Nab All-American Arm In Round 35

The Twins picked up infielder Marcel Champagnie in the 34th round, adding some more infield depth if they can get him to sign. The picked up a steal in round 35, picking up righty Robby Donovan from Royal Palm Beach High School. Donovan was a Team One Baseball Top-30 selection, and was a PUMA All-American.

In Round 34, the Twins picked up a middle infielder in the person of Marcel Champagnie. Champagnie was born in Canada, and is currently playing for Kaskaskia Community College. He has soft hands, and from what we are told, has good base running ability. At 20-years old, he may be someone who the Twins are able to sign this late in the draft.

The pick in round 35 is one that I am excited about. If the Twins can sign Robby Donovan, then they will have one of the best arms in all of South Florida. He is 6'5'', was a PUMA All-American, and was one of Team One Baseball's Top-30 prospects.
