Twins Take An Infielder And Two Arms

In round 43, the Twins took Francis Berry, a right-handed pitcher out of First Colonial High School in Virginia. In round 44, they selected Isaac Castillo, a nice second baseman who was one of the better infielder in Hawaii last season. In the 45th round, they took a familiar face, drafting Brandon Trodick, whom they drafted last season as well.

The Twins picked up another arm in the 43rd round, selecting First Colonial (VA) High School hurler Francis Berry. Berry is a 6'2'' right-hander who has a decent arm. Being a high school pitcher being picked in the 43rd round, it is unlikely that he will sign.

In the 44th round, they selected Isaac Castillo from Waimea High School in Hawaii. Castillo has been one of the better infielder in Hawaii since his sophomore year of high school, and was recently named to participate in the Sugar Mill Classic, which is a prestigious All-Star Game.

In the 45th round, the Twins picked a familiar face in Brandon Trodick. He was selected by the Twins last season as a centerfielder, but he did not sign with the team. This year, he was drafted as a right-handed pitcher, so well see what he does this year.
