Beloit Makes Roster Moves, Release Two

The Snappers made some roster moves on Tuesday, releasing OF Mark Robinson, and P Adam Revelette. The Snappers filled their roster by adding infielder Steven Singleton, and pitchers Jesus Carnevale and Aaron Craig.

The Snappers released outfielder Mark Robinson, and pitcher Adam Revelette on Tuesday, and place pitcher Sean Land on the 7-Day Disable List.

With the three empty spots on the roster the Twins have called up three players from Extended Spring Training, adding infielder Steven Singleton, and pitchers Aaron Craig, and Jesus Carnevale.

Both Singleton and Craig spent 2006 in Elizabethton, while 2007 will be Carnevales' first season in professional baseball.

Singleton batted .340 with 24 RBI's and 26 runs scored in 41 games for Elizabethton. Steven also led the Appalachian League in Triples with 5.

Craig was 2-1 with a 5.11 ERA in 20 games last season. Aaron had 17 strikeouts in 24 and 2/3's innings pitched.

Jesus Carnevales signed with the Twins as a non-drafted free agent on November 6, 2006.

Revelette had appeared in 8 games out of the Snappers bullpen, posting a 4.50 earned run average, while Robinson had hit only .132 in 12 games.
