The Suns scored four first inning runs off of Kannapolis starter Brian Miller.  Miller was able to battle and lasted 5/2/3 innings giving up ten hits and six runs.

Anthony Webster and Edgar Valera had Kannapolis only hits.

The second game of the double-header was rained out and will be made up at a later date.

Weather forced the Winston-Salem Warthogs to postpone Wednesday's doubleheader against Lynchburg.

A make up date will be announced at a later time.  The Warthogs will play one game against Lynchburg on Thursday at 7:15 PM.
