Jamie McMurray grabs his first pole of the season

McMurray will start the final Winston Cup Race on the Pole after running a lap of 181.111 beating out Bobby Labonte and Brian Vickers who both ran lap of 180.729. It was also be Chip Ganassi first pole of 2003.

The "Rocket Man" Ryan Newman will start 4th while Four Time Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon rounds out the top 5th.

Kurt Busch will start 6th and is the only Ford starting in the top 10. Joe Nemechek had another strong qualifying run, he will start 7th.

Looks like it was a day for the Rookies to shine. Larry Foyt.....I repeat Larry Foyt will start 12th in the Harrah Dodge. Sorry had to do that. Casey Mears start 15th,Tony Raines 19th. Greg Biffle will start 25th.

Matt Kenseth the 2003 Winston Cup Champion had to take a provisional, he will start 37th. However he will not be lonely, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be beside Kenseth in 38th.
