Celtics Working Overtime For Draft

In just over 24 hours, the Boston Celtics will begin the 2016 NBA Draft with eight overall selections, three of those being in the first round.

The best selection Boston owns is the number three pick, and Danny Ainge has been very busy trying to trade the pick for established veteran. Ainge hasn't exactly found what he wants, but he has targeted Jimmy Butler, Gordon Hayward, Khris Middleton, and Jabari Parker. Philadelphia has reportedly offered the Celtics either Okafor or Noel, which Boston can choose from, but they haven't pulled the trigger yet. One reason why Ainge will wait is because he's hoping that he can land a young small forward that can score as that is the team's top priority. If they can't get that done, then they most likely deal for Okafor.
