Your Dallas Mavericks Quoteboard from a 101-73 Sunday win over GS that guarantees the Mavs a playoff berth for the 11th straight year:

News on Shawn Marion, who sat out with a wrist sprain . . .

"I'll be alright. I think Tuesday we're gonna practice and I'm gonna suit up and get through it this week and I'll be fine." -Shawn Marion

Oh my, Peja Stojakovic -- 17 points including five of eight on threes . . .

"I was a little cautious in the beginning, worrying about it, but I didn't feel any pain . . . As always, when you come off the bench you have to be aggressive. I knew that I would be coming off the bench early on and I was lucky that I was put in position to make the shots that I did." -Peja Stojakovic

"If you look at that Spurs game, we went five minutes without scoring. Peja plays five minutes and puts in 11 points. So, that tells you right there when a guy can get hot like that, and it could be any one of us, but you've got to have that out on the floor. You can't have that in the locker room in a suit or on the training table." -Jason Terry

"He has nights where he just can't miss. Everybody knows who Peja Stojakovic is in this league." -Tyson Chandler

"He really spreads the floor. He was moving well, moving to his spots. He was aggressive and his shot was flowing. It was fun to watch." -Dirk Nowitzki

"Obviously, Stojakovic coming back and getting it going was a big factor for us . . . It was big for us tonight; we needed it." -Coach Rick Carlisle

"We got hurt a little bit by a surprise player that came out of nowhere -- Peja." -Coach Keith Smart

"He's a shooter. That's what he does." -Dorell Wright

On Tyson Chandler, who didn't make a single shot but still scored seven and grabbed seventeen rebounds . . .

"Tyson was a major presence for us on the inside. 17 boards is a massive number. Even though he only had 1 blocked shot, he altered a lot of things in there. I thought we did a good job using our length in the game." -Coach Rick Carlisle

"The last three or four games, I felt like I really wasn't myself. I got caught up in the way things were going and getting frustrated that I started to let it affect me. And I can't let that happen. I got to play and let the cards fall where they fall." -Tyson Chandler

Regarding Rodrigue Beaubois -- 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 fouls, 2 steals, 5 turnovers, 1 block . . .

"I tried to be more aggressive, more focused, because at the beginning of the game I wasn't focused enough. I have to be aggressive. That's my game. I have to be aggressive all the time." -Rodrigue Beaubois

"That's his game. I don't think he even knows what he's going to do next." -Dirk Nowitzki

About the second half -- Golden State had managed to cut Dallas's lead to four halfway through the third before Dallas outscored them 41-17 the rest of the way . . .

"Yeah, they were getting key stops. We got the game all the way to four but at the end we just couldn't get stops and they were hitting big threes with Peja out there. They were just getting easy baskets -- that was out main downfall. But we got it close, but as a good team they did what they were supposed to do." -Dorell Wright

Regarding better defense -- Golden State scored thirty below their season average and shot eleven percent under their normal field goal percentage . .

"We were really focused on what we had to do to stop them after the game with San Antonio . . . We've been playing good defense, but our turnovers have hurt us and we've allowed too many second-chance shots. Whenever you allow second-chance shots in the NBA, it's going to be tough for you. Tonight we got stops, rebounded the ball and were able to get out and run." -Tyson Chandler

"Tonight, it's a 30-win team on the one hand, so nobody's gonna get too excited about this score. On the other hand, it's a team that's very skilled and is averaging 103. So, the fact that we were able to hold them to a good number is something to build on." -Coach Rick Carlisle

On regrouping and carrying on after a bad night . . .

"It was one of those moments that we were coming off of a tough loss (against San Antonio). We had a chance to practice and go over some things. It was, 'Look, what are we going to do fellas? Are we going to go the opposite way -- because we can call it a summer real early -- or are we going to buckle down and get things together and get things defensively together and do what we all said we can do and accomplish what we all thought we can accomplish at the beginning of the year?''' -Tyson Chandler

And Mr. Cool on Dallas's official clinching of a playoff spot . . .

"We did? All right." -Dirk Nowitzki
