Pacers strike marketing deal with FanDuel

Integrated marketing alliance begins in 2015-16 NBA season.

Pacers Sports & Entertainment announced Tuesday a multi-year deal with FanDuel, a leader in one-day fantasy sports.

It’s the Indiana Pacers’ first exclusive alliance with a daily fantasy sports web site. The fully integrated marketing agreement will prominently feature FanDuel at Bankers Life Fieldhouse beginning with the 2015-16 season.

“With participation in fantasy sports becoming such a large part of the sports industry as a whole, we’re excited to partner with FanDuel and bring that experience to our fans,” said Todd Taylor, Pacers Sports & Entertainment Senior Vice President of Marketing/Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. “FanDuel has quickly established itself nationally as a great entertainment and engagement experience, and we are proud to partner with them to introduce this new offering to Pacers fans.”

FanDuel will be the presenting sponsor of Pacers.com. In-arena elements include signage on all digital assets in the bowl, as well as pregame and halftime scoreboard features. FanDuel will also have radio spots and various hospitality assets as part of the deal.

“Teaming up with the Pacers for the upcoming season is a huge win for us at FanDuel,” said Nigel Eccles, CEO of FanDuel. “The Indiana Pacers have an extremely dedicated fan base and we believe that our partnership will give us the chance to provide Pacers fans with unrivaled opportunities and experiences.”

FanDuel is the leading one-day fantasy sports company that is transforming the world of fantasy sports with an exciting new way to play.
