Are the Pelicans Too Cautious With Player Injuries?

The New Orleans Pelicans have a history of erring on the side of caution when it comes to protecting their injured players...and the players are appreciative of the organization's concern for them. Tonight however, was a different story. Tyreke Evans was held out of a third straight game with knee tendinitis. Coach Alvin Gentry said that Evans could have played tonight vs Memphis, but decided "to let him rest at this point of the season." Are you serious? The Pels need to win NOW!
